Williamsburg PTO Mission Statement

The mission of the Williamsburg PTO is to foster a spirit of cooperation and communication among all members of the school community.  We strive to enhance the educational and social environments in the Williamsburg schools so that all children may achieve their greatest potential.  We will accomplish this by:

*promoting parent participation in the development and support of school programs; 

*serving as a forum for communications among and between members of the school community;

*encouraging an atmosphere of collaboration, creativity, and celebration;

*providing opportunities for cultural and educational enrichment programs;

*Partnering with the school district, principal and school committee to obtain funding and determine areas of need;

*fund-raising within the schools and community-at-large through grant writing, parent initiated programs, donations of funds and in-kind donations;

*encouraging the community-at-large to support our children and their educational experience at the Williamsburg schools;
